The definition of a god is difficult to define.

If something is immortal, powerful, no physical body, and can take control of humans, I’d say that that could be a god.

Beyond that, it’s difficult to define. Maybe that’s a part of what makes something godlike; it wouldn't be much of a god if we could easily define it.
